Kavaata Valves are high-quality Industrial Valves manufactured by Rajeev and Company. Established in 1996 as a ball valve component manufacturer, the company has grown over the years to become one of the leading manufacturers of Industrial Valves with sales all around the world.

Rajeev and company is part of Rao Enterprises Group. Rao Enterprises was established in 1984 in Belgaum, India as a Textile manufacturing firm, producing Polyester Sarees (A traditional Indian dress). In 1996, Rajeev and Company was established as the group diversified into the field of Engineering and started manufacturing Industrial Valve components such as Balls, Stems and Glands. Rajeev and Company used the latest machining technology in the form of CNC machines, which gave their components superior quality and repeatability. Soon Rajeev and Company became the sought after company for Industrial Valve Components. In 2006, the company diversified into manufacturing Industrial Valves under its own brand name "Kavaata Valves".

 
 

Infrastructure

The plant is located on a lush green 4-acre plot amid 1000 teak, coconut and mango plantations. The campus consists of a 18000 sq. feet building which houses state-of-the-art machineries for manufacturing of world class valves & investment castings.

History

  • 2025

         Started our own Investment Casting Unit and exported to countries like France, Italy, Indonesia, USA. Developed various valves like our first ever 120 degree diverter ball valve, Triple 3-way or 9 way ball valve, Wafer type double 3 way ball valves in various sizes, 6 way ball valves and many more. We also showcased our products at the Gas India Expo in Noida.

         Exhibited in India Flow Chem Exhibition, exported to Saudi Arabia, Nepal, USA, Qatar, South Korea, and Australia

         Exported to Germany, USA, Czech Republic, and Qatar

          Exports increased, this year we exported to Saudi Arabia, Czech Republic, UAE, Germany, and Belgium

           Developed 250FB (10”) 3Way Flanged End Ball Valve with common gear actuator.

    Developed Non-Slam Check Valve and 4” Butt Weld End Metal Seated Ball Valve

    Developed Linear Characteristics Valve

    Manufactured and exported "Cavity Filler Fire safe Electropolished and Buffed Mirror finished Ball Valves" to Thailand.

    Exhibits in Gandhinagar, Gujarat during Oct 2013.

    Exhibits in MSV Brno, Czech Republic. Bags order to Czech Republic. A new division to manufacture Tools started.

  • 2011

    Becomes the sought after supplier of 3 Way ball Valves for heat exchangers. Develops Metal Seat ball valves for high-temperature applications.

  • 2010

    Bags orders from Thailand and Mexico. Exhibits at Chennai Valve Expo.

  • 2009

    Bags export order to Mexico and Kuwait.

  • 2008

    A need for Vertical Machining Centre was felt and hence the machine was procured. The Ball Valves sales continued to rise and they became widely accepted for high quality.

  • 2007

    Year of consolidation and introduction of our new product, Ball Valves. After a long deliberation, Mr. N.K.Bheema Rao, came up with the brand name of Kavaata for the valves, which means valves in Kannada.

  • 2006

    Although auto component demand was continuously going up, it was always a Job Work, and a need was felt to develop "Own Product". Because of our manufacturing of Ball Valves was started in the month of December.

  • 2005

    The demand for auto components continued and by the end of the year two more CNC turning centres made their list of machinery. In the meanwhile, the ball valve component manufacturing continued to progress ...

  • 2004

    The automobile market entered a boom period and there was a need for CNC turned auto components. One more CNC machine was purchased to cater to this great demand. The company also took ISO 9001 certification.

  • 1996

    A need was felt to diversify into fields other than Textiles, it was decided to start a CNC workshop to machine precision turned components. This was the establishment of the Engineering Division of Rajeev and Company...

  • 1994

    N.B.Rajeev Rao, come back from USA after completing his Master's degree and joined the group. It was decided the group should exit from Sarees business, as it was getting highly competitive.

  • 1992

    N.B.Ashok Rao, came back from USA after finishing his Masters degree and joined the group. The main focus now was to increase the turnover of Polyester yarn business and therefore a new Polyester Yarn twisting unit was set up.

  • 1988

    Due the increased demand of Polyester Yarn, Rao Enterprises took up agencies of big Polyester Yarn manufacturing companies, such as Reliance Industries Ltd

    The invention of Polyester Sarees, a traditional Indian dress. The Sarees made out of Polyester yarn looked and felt like Silk Sarees, and cost only a fraction. They soon caught the fancy of consumers and within a matter of months
