A brief introduction to Kavaata Ball Valves
Kavaata Valves is the brand of Ball Valve manufactured by Rajeev and Company, located at
Belgaum, Karnataka, India. Kavaata Valves are high quality ball valves in Forged Steel, Flanged End,
Screwed End and Single Piece varieties and are designed as per international standards such as BS
5351 (ISO 17292), API6D. Pressure rating and wall thickness follow ASME B16.34 standards. The Ball
Valves are tested as per BS 6755 part I and API 598 standards. Our Ball Valves are guaranteed for
pressure ratings, composition of material and all our ball valves are accompanied with a test
certificate.
Rajeev and Company, the manufacturer of Kavaata Ball Valves, is an ISO 9001:2008 company and
has been in the business of Ball Valves since 1996, when it started as a component manufacturing
company making balls and stems. In 2006, the company graduated to manufacturing Ball Valves
under the brand name Kavaata. Rajeev and Company is managed by highly qualified and dedicated
technical team, which can undertake designing, manufacturing and testing of regular and special
purpose ball valves.
Forged Steel Ball Valves are made using ASTM A105 forged steel material and are designed for ANSI
800 class. These valves also qualify for 1000 psi WOG and 2000 psi WOG applications in petroleum
industries. 3000 psi WOG ball valves can also be supplied. The sizes offered are 1/2" to 2" regular

Flanged End Ball Valves are Investment Casting Ball Valves designed for ANSI 150 class
applications. The body is made of WCB,CF8 and CF8M materials and internals can be SS304/SS316.
The flange dimensions follow ASTM B16.5 standards and at present the sizes manufactured are from

Screwed End Ball Valves are Investment Casting Ball Valves designed for ANSI 150 class
applications. The body is made of WCB, CF8 and CF8M materials and internals can be SS304/SS316

Single Piece Ball Valves are Investment Casting Ball Valves designed for ANSI 150 class applications.
The body is made of WCB,CF8 and CF8M materials and internals can be SS304/SS316. At present

Special Purpose Ball Valves are designed and manufactured as per customer specifications and use.
These valves may be a combinations of the above type of Ball Valves or they may be fabricated

| Reason for establishing Kavaata Ball Valves The Ball Valve industry today is clearly fragmented into two category of Ball Valve manufacturers. The first type are manufacturers of low quality valves, who sell in the replacement market and retail outlets. These valves are very cheap as there is a serious compromise with respect to material of construction and component quality besides non conformance to standards. These valves are usually available readily and are therefore preferred by buyers who are price and time sensitive but not quality conscious. The second type are branded ball valve manufacturers, whose valves conform to specified standards with guaranteed material of construction and component quality. These valves are very expensive and delivery times usually range from 4 to 16 weeks. Buyers prefer these brands for their quality but have to endure long delays and excuses, as delivery schedules are usually not met. This leads to project delays and escalated costs. We at Kavaata Valves aim at bridging this gap by guaranteeing our product with regard to its material of construction, its quality of components and conformance to standards while maintaining reasonable prices and timely deliveries.
